How To Play The Jungle Books Slot
First, you need to choose a coin value. There are several options for this available: the lowest is 0.002, while the highest is 0.30. The value you choose is multiplied by 50 to get your total bet amount per spin. You’re able to bet with as low as 0.10 and as high as 15. Along the bottom of the reels are several buttons. When either the boy, the bear or the tiger is the host, the slot uses a 3-3-4-3-3 grid with 58 paylines that run from the left. When the panther’s the host, the slot uses a 4-3-3-3-4 grid with 68 paylines that run from the left. If the snake’s the host, a 3-4-4-3 grid is used and there are 68 paylines that run in both directions. Landing three or more identical symbols on consecutive reels on a payline gives you a win.
- Symbols. There are 10 standard symbols that you’re able to form winning combinations with as you play. The four least valuable ones are colourful wooden blocks styled to represent the four card suits. The five with higher payouts are various tropical jungle fruits. The blue plum is the most valuable of these, giving you a payout equal to 100x your coin value for landing five on a payline. The slot’s most rewarding symbol overall is the one that shows three hanging pears. Land five of this symbol on a payline and you’ll receive a payout worth 300x your coin value. Along with the standard symbols, the slot has a wild that substitutes for all standard symbols to help you win.
- Hosts, Guests And Realms. Jungle Books has a unique gameplay feature that involves characters and realms. There are five characters altogether: a boy (who resembles Mowgli from Disney’s film adaptation of The Jungle Book), a panther, a tiger, a snake and a bear. Each character has its own realm (a background setting) and two special features. There’s always one character to the left of the grid: this is the host. When you start playing, the boy is the host; his realm is in effect and his two special features are represented by icons above him. The host can leave at any time. When the host leaves, they appear on the right side of the grid as a guest and only one of their special features is represented. All guests stay where they are for at least three spins. However, they leave immediately if you change your bet size.
Jungle Books Bonus Features
- Special Character Features. While you play, both of the host’s two special features are in effect. If there’s a guest, their one feature that’s represented is also in effect. The characters and their features are as follows:
- The Boy. The boy’s features are Synced Reels and Spreading Wilds. The Synced Reels feature has 1+2 match and 4+5 match, while Spreading Wilds has each wild spread, adding one or two extra wilds to the grid.
- The Panther. The panther’s features are Wild Fruit and Random Multiplier. For the Wild Fruit feature the most valuable symbol, the one with three pears, acts as a wild, while Random Multiplier has a x2, x3 or x5 multiplier applied to random wins.
- The Tiger. The tiger’s features are Sticky Respin and Stacked Wilds. Sticky Respin gives you a respin whenever you win, with all winning symbols and wilds turning sticky and remaining in place for the respin.
- The Snake. The snake’s features are Win Both Ways and x3 Wild. Win Both Ways has all paylines run both ways, while x3 Wild trebles the value of all wins that include a wild.
- The Bear. The bear’s features are Honeycomb Bonus and Stacked Symbol. Honeycomb Bonus adds honeycomb symbols to select reels. Landing a honeycomb symbol triggers a pick-me game where each pick gives you a prize of between 50 and 50,000 coins. You get one pick for every honeycomb symbol on the reels. Stacked Symbol has one random symbol on every spin appearing stacked.
